In 1976, at Rumsfeld's urging "every man, woman and child" was to be vaccinated against swine flu. 52 people died from the vaccination; nobody got swine flu. Rumsfeld served as CEO of G.D. Searle, whose products included aspartame with possible connections to brain tumors. Rumsfeld got aspartame 'legalized' by appointing Dr. Arthur Hayes, a defense contractor, as head of FDA! Of course there is the famous photo of Saddam Hussein shaking hands with Rumsfeld. Saddam’s chemical weapons program was allowed to continue as long as he was killing our enemies. And just before becoming Bush’s Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld served as Chairman of Gilead, the developer of Tamiflu, now being stockpiled by the DOD for treatment of bird flu. Rumsfeld owned at least $5 million of the stock. Rumsfeld earned $190,000 as a Board member of ABB, which in 2000 sold two light water nuclear reactors to North Korea!
